Boondocks Midnight Majesty (Dyna) I lost Dyna after she had complications having her first litter. She had to have an emergency c section but did not make it long after the surgery. She left me with 9 beautiful babies. Her sister Myra had just had her litter the week before. These 2 were inseparable. Myra knew that something had happened. She was restless and would leave her babies to look for Dyna. I decided to let Myra in the whelping box with Dyna's pups and just see if that would settle her down. It did, and she immediately began caring for them. Myra already had 8 puppies of her own and now had decided she would care for Dyna's as well! We had many long nights and supplemental bottle feedings, but all puppies grew and thrived. They are now in their new homes except for one of Dyna's daughters that I kept to carry on all of her wonderful attibutes. Watch for updates about this beautiful little girl. Dyna is greatly missed. |
